Nelson Police intercepted a passenger arriving in Nelson on a flight from Auckland on Sunday who was found to be in possession of more than 1 ounce of methamphetamine.
Detective Senior Sergeant Craig Johnston said the arrest came as the result of Police investigations into the supply of the drug in the region.
The 36 year old Nelson woman was travelling alone. She will appear in the Nelson District Court today charged with possessing methamphetamine for supply and offering to sell methamphetamine.
