New hoops needed for Victory School

Victory Primary School is on the way to getting some much-needed new basketball hoops thanks to a fundraiser initiated by a school parent.

Dallas Spence from Freeman Roofing is helping the school raise $4,000 to replace the worn-down hoops and is calling on the community to donate.

The current hoops are estimated to be more than 20 years old and are now “past their best” with the school not having enough funds to buy new ones.

“During times of uncertainty, it is even more important to give something back. A little bit of time or money from a lot of people can make a huge difference,” says Dallas.

Donations can be made to the school account, 03-0703-0451588-00, use the reference ‘HOOPS’.
