A roaring street party is on its way to Nelson at the end of this month.
The inaugural Street Hop will see music, classic cars, dancing and food take over upper Hardy St on Sunday, October 28 from 10am to 4pm.

The event is being organised by Uniquely Nelson and will raise money for the Nelson Tasman Hospice.
More than 120 classic cars from all eras will line upper Hardy St and Morrison Square. Live music will also be accompanied by other entertainment, including for children, a car auction, charity auction and more.
Simon Duffy from Uniquely Nelson says the event will bring something special into the CBD. “We’re really excited. This is a cool event that is family friendly and will be a heck of a lot of fun while raising money for a really deserving charity.”
Retailers on the street will also be open, allowing hop-goers to do some shopping at the same time.
Simon says they still have room for people who would like their car to be included in the event. Simply email [email protected].
