The first tickets for the All Blacks test match in Nelson next year will be available from this week as part of a season ticket package with the Tasman Makos.
Tasman Rugby Union are releasing its season tickets for the 2018 season, as part of the package you get tickets to three Makos games at Trafalgar Park and a ticket to the All Blacks v Argentina.
Ticketing by New Zealand Rugby for the first-ever All Blacks test in Nelson will go on public sale in April or May 2018.
The season ticket package costs $205 and the Tasman Rugby Union marketing manager Les Edwards says it’s the best way to guarantee an early ticket and a great seat.
“Booking a Makos season ticket and All Blacks test ticket combination will ensure you secure a test seat in the best available position in the ground, as well as supporting rugby in our region and the Tasman Makos.”
There will be 20,000 uncovered seats available, creating an intimate, boutique-style stadium with seating on all four sides, with the majority of the 1070 covered seats in the park allocated for NZ Rugby, All Blacks Hospitality and the Tasman Union’s major sponsors.
Ticketing prices have been set at $145 for an uncovered West or East stand seat or $120 for a North or South stand seat.
There will also be a limited number of Take-A-Kid-To-The-Footy packs comprising one adult and one child 12 years and younger for $180, located in the North stand.
“Even if people want to wait until tickets go on public sale, there will be plenty of test seats available, so fans should not fear about missing out,” Edwards said.
