Tasman United youth coaches named

Tasman United have announced Tom Fawdry and Andy Morris as their youth team coaches.

Tom is a UEFA B license holder and current player coach of North Shore United.

He will also be goal keeping coach for Tasman United and has previously been academy goal keeping coach with Portsmouth FC, Charlton Athletic and Aldershot Town.

As well as this Tom has worked with the Phoenix Academy in a goal keeping coach capacity and is expected to arrive in Nelson next week.

“I’m very much looking forward to joining Tasman United and getting started. It’s a very exciting project and an honour to be involved.”

Andy Morris is well known in Nelson and holds an Oceania level 2 license.

Currently the Director of Football at FC Nelson, the largest football club in the top of the South.

“I am very pleased to be part of this impressive Tasman United coaching team. The mood is determined and energetic. Tom and I can’t wait to get started next week.
