Malone wins Gold!

Nelson blade runner Liam Malone has struck gold at the Rio Paralympics 200m event in world record time this morning.

The 22-year-old won the final in a time of 21.06 seconds beat Oscar Pistorious’ previous best in that event.

The result backs up Liam’s silver medal in the 100m and puts him in a prime position with his preferred 400m event still to come.
