Kitty litter covers carpark

Members of the public were left confused after walking past the 623 corner of Buxton Square during yesterday’s downpour.

The corner was covered with kitty litter which in the sudden rainfall, spread across the carpark and flooded a drain, leaving onlookers complaining about the “massive mess”.

A council spokesperson has since confirmed that the kitty litter was spread across the carpark corner by Downers following an oil spill from a hydraulic vehicle pump early in the morning.

The kitty litter has since been swept up and the area has been tidied.
