Nelson lucky in weekend Lotto draw

There must be something in the water because not only were the weekend’s lotto numbers in a row but Nelson sold a first division and two second division tickets.

Buying a ticket definitely paid off for one local lotto player, who won $142,857 with Lotto First Division.

The ticket, which was one of seven winners, was sold at Pak N Save Richmond.

Thirty-four second division players are also celebrating today after each winning $7,913.

Among them are two players who bought their tickets at the Richmond Night N Day and the Wakefield Four Square.

Anyone who bought their ticket from any of these winning stores should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately.

And just to add to the unusual, five of the eight numbers drawn were consecutive.

The balls drawn were 21, 22, 23, 24, 26 followed by 40, bonus number 28 and powerball number 02.

Powerball was not struck and has rolled over to Wednesday night where the jackpot will be $12 million.
