Tasman United has announced its naming rights sponsor for this summer’s National Football Premier League competition.
Tasman was granted a team in the National League late last year and today announced its naming rights sponsor – NelsonPine LVL.
The two-year arrangement will include front of shirt sponsorship and naming rights for the franchise’s senior men’s premiership team and national league youth team.
“Nelson Pine Industries Ltd has been such a great supporter of local and grassroots football for a long time, so it is great to build this relationship to the national level with one of its leading brands,” says Nelson Bays Football General Manager Clive Beaumont. “With the two-year deal, it provides a foundation level of certainty for the franchise, which we know is important for other sponsors who might be keen to come on board.
“From the time we started preparing our bid for the franchise last year, the business community has really got behind Tasman United and it is very reassuring to have this major sponsor in place so many months before our first season kicks off.”
Clive says there is still work to be done securing further commercial partners but there are plenty of opportunities for local businesses to positively promote themselves through this new and exciting team. “So we are confident we will attract the sponsors we need to be a success off the field.”
