Foundation students and former staff and pupils have come from as far as the United Kingdom and Brazil for Nayland College’s 50th Jubilee.
The school that first opened its gates in 1966 is celebrating 50 years with a week of activities for current and former staff and students.
The reunion celebrations began with a Powhiri and open day on Thursday. Friday featured photographs and a Chatters and Platters event that ran well into the night.
Today’s events included a Barbeque & Beer lunch as well as several sports competitions.
At 2.30pm today, the pre 2000 students will take on the post 2000 students on the rugby field with the under 35-year-olds wearing mandatory gumboots.
