Warriors class competition

Stoke School’s Room 10 is armed with 29 black and white masks and will do their darnedest to win tickets to the upcoming Warriors game.

The Hits, in conjunction with Mike Pero are running a video competition amongst the region’s schools and to the victor go the spoils – free tickets for the class, a parent each and a double pass for the teacher.

Entrants must make a video about the upcoming Vodafone Warriors vs St George Illawarra Dragons clash at Trafalgar Park, February 20.

The video must be a minimum of 30 seconds, feature both The Hits and Mike Pero, be it verbally or visually.

Stoke School teacher Tommy Winnington says Room 10 were keen to get filming.

“The kids are super excited, we can’t stop them from talking about it, it’s dominated the day to be honest.”

Tommy and his class shot and edited their film yesterday and won’t give away any hints to what is in their video.

Nine-year-old Stoke School student, Kendra Saville has her fingers crossed.

“I’ve never been to a warriors game before but I like watching rugby league. It’s so cool that they’re coming to Nelson, I hope we win!”

The videos must be uploaded to The Hits Facebook page, entries close tomorrow and the winner will be announced next Thursday.
