Stoke School’s Room 10 got a surprise yesterday when the Warriors rocked up to school and gave away free tickets to Saturday’s game.

Room 10 submitted a video in The Hits, Mike Pero and Vodafone Warrior’s class competition, winning two tickets for each student as well as tickets for their principal and teacher, Tommy Winnington.

Warriors players Toafofoa Sipley and David Fusitua, along with Kiwi Fern Georgia Hale, held a workshop for the whole school before announcing the winning video.

Teacher Tommy Winnington says he is so stoked and is looking forward to the game.

“I’m really proud of their of all the hard work they put in, and seeing a result like that, I couldn’t be happier for them.”

“The video clip came in at about 27 seconds and was a combination of five minutes of video footage and the kids just selected the parts they liked and then we just put it in and worked on it together.”

Student Talupe Ula features in the video several times and says she was really excited meeting the Warriors.

“I’m looking forward to the game, I’m gonna take my whole family.”
