The Dragons flew into Nelson Airport just before 5pm on Monday will be staying in Tahunanui this week. The team will train at the Tahunanui Recreation Reserve Tuesday and Wednesday from 9.30am to 11.30am.

Organiser Aldo Miccio says the west stand at Trafalgar Park is sold out for the game and the east stand is more than three quarters full. “Total sold is approximately 7000 to date and we are expecting between 10 and 12,000 on the day. The forecast is hot and sunny so we are expecting a big walk-up crowd.”

It is the first time the Warriors have played in Nelson and it is being billed as a homecoming for Warriors skipper Simon Mannering.
