Heavy rain failed to stop the people of Brightwater at last night’s Carols by Glo-light.
Over 100 people brought their picnic baskets and blankets and crammed into the Brightwater Hall for the annual event, usually held at Snowden’s Bush.
The night was filled with food, family, tinsel, Santa and music including carols from the Brightwater School Choir.
Local, Kay Stratford has been coming to the event with her grandchildren for years.
“It’s a great night, it really makes you feel like it’s Christmas,” says Kay.
