Second division win from Stoke New World

Stoke New World sold one of twelve winning Second Division Lotto tickets on Saturday.

The ticket holder still remains anonymous, yet to claim the $20,908.

Supermarket owner, Glenn Anderson says the supermarket has been pretty lucky over the years.

“We’ve got a wee history of wins, we’ve been a pretty lucky store with multiple division ones and two wins.”

Glenn says he hopes the winner is local and comes in to claim the money soon.

“We’re always excited, especially if it goes to a local. We’ve had winners in the past and its really good when a local comes in, the girls up the front get pretty excited.”

Anyone who bought their ticket from Stoke New World should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet, online at or through Lotto NZ’s ticket-checker smartphone app.
