NMIT are hosting their annual open day today, sharing information about their range of courses and giving potential students a chance to see inside the local campus’ facilities
Tutors and student helpers are available to answer questions on their specific area of expertise and Youth and Communities manager Grant McNeill encourages people to take advantage of the many activities and workshops the open day has available, including a haunted classroom to celebrate Halloween.
Whether you are enrolled in a course and want to get a better understanding of the campus grounds or you hope to find some help in choosing a study direction come along to the NMIT open day, which will be running until 2pm today.
Soon to be nursing student Alana Crook says she decided on completing her study at NMIT because of the convenience and the fact “the campus and the people are so lovely.” The open day giving her the opportunity to explore the impressive nursing facilities where she will be spending a lot of her time next year.
