Nelson cricketer stars in UK

Former Nelson and Central Districts cricketer Marty Kain had a match to remember at the weekend.
Marty took all 10 wickets in Dukinfield’s three wicket win over Denton West in the UK on Sunday and then contributed a hard hit 33 with the bat.
The left arm orthodox spinner finished with the amazing figures of 10 for 52 from 20 overs after opening the bowling in the Lancashire County League match at Denton West.
Marty is playing a professional for Dukinfield in the Lancashire County League. He previously spent the 2010 and 2011 winters in England helping club side Camberley to promotion in Division Two of the Surrey Championship and then returning for a second stint in Surrey with victorious premier club Wimbledon.
