Fixing your slice or hook has been made a lot easier after the Nelson Golf Club’s driving range was re-opened on Saturday.
The range was close two years ago after Nelson Airport, which owns the land, didn’t renew the lease, saying they had plans for the area. But those plans have taken a back seat, allowing the club to reopen the range on a year-by-year lease. Club pro at the club says it’s fantastic to have it open again as it’s the only driving range in Nelson.
“It covers everyone, really. Whether you want to practise to become elite in the game, or you’re just starting out and want to give golf a go,” he says
Buckets of balls from small to large cost from $4 to $12 and the range is open 7 days.
