Police are warning motorists travelling over the Takaka Hill on State Highway 60 to expect delays following a crash on Monday afternoon.
A cyclist travelling down the hill towards Motueka has crashed. He has been airlifted to hospital with suspected head injuries. No other vehicles were involved.
Traffic is down to one lane as police investigate the scene of the crash.
