Ever drive past Nelson Haven and wonder where that boat berthed at Port Nelson is from or what she’s delivering? Every week Nelson Live will bring you a run down of the major ships entering and exiting our harbour.

Today

At 10am The Spirit of Canterbury container vessel berthed at the Brunt Q carrying containers from Lyttelton.

The Maria Katharina container vessel will be berthing at the Brunt Q carrying containers from Lyttelton at 11.30pm

The Torea Coil non-methanol petrochemical tanker will be departing the Main Wharf North at 7pm.

At 8pm The Spirit of Canterbury container vessel will be departing the Brunt Q carrying containers to Tauranga.

At 11.28pm The Sea Watch SEWO dredge will be departing the Slipway Jetty.

Tuesday

At 11am The Maria Katharina container vessel will be departing the Brunt Q carrying containers to Wellington.

Wednesday

There are no shipping movements today.

Thursday

At 11:35am The ANL Echuca container vessel will be berthing at the Brunt Q carrying containers from Lyttelton. She will depart to Wellington at 11.30pm.

Friday

At 10am The Milburn Carrier II cement carrier will be berthing at the Main Wharf South carrying product from New Plymouth. She will depart at 1pm.

Arriving at 1pm is theThe Polaris Ace MOLV car carrier from Lyttleton. Shewill be berthing at the McGlashen Quay South. The Polaris departs at 7.30pm.

Saturday

At 7am The Chenan general cargo vessel will be berthing at the Main Wharf South carrying containers from Lyttelton

The Brandywine barge will be departing the Slipway Jetty at 2pm.

Sunday

At 9.49am The Kwela log vessel will be berthing at the Kingsford Quay.

The Josephine Maersk container vessel will be berthing at the Main Wharf South carrying containers from Sydney, Australia at 3pm.

At 6pm The Taudre TBA LNP will be departing the Slipway.

At 7am The Chenan general cargo vessel will be departing the Main Wharf South carrying containers to Melbourne, Australia.
