Ever drive past Nelson Haven and wonder where that boat berthed at Port Nelson is from or what she’s doing? Every week Nelson Live will bring you a run down of the major ships entering and exiting our harbour.

Today:

At 8.45am the ANL Echuca ANL container vessel berthed at the Brunt Q carrying containers from Lyttelton. She will depart to Wellington at 9pm

Saturday August 1

At 9pm the Chengtu SWIR cargo vessel will be departing the Main Wharf South carrying containers to Melbourne, Australia.

The Pelican NZDG dredge will be berthing at the Kingsford Quay East at 1.36pm.

Sunday August 2

The Maungatea POMA tug boat will be departing the Kingsford Quay East at 6am.

At 11am the Jeppesen Maersk MSK container vessel will be departing the Main Wharf South carrying containers to Wellington. She will depart at 10.15pm to Sydney, Australia.

Monday August 3

At 9am the Spirit of Canterbury PAC container vessel will be berthing at the Brunt Q carrying containers from Lyttelton. She leaved to Tauranga at 10pm.

Tuesday August 4

At 1am the Milburn Carrier II Holcim cement carrier will be berthing at the Main Wharf South carrying cement from New Plymouth. She departs at 9.15pm.

The Newlead Castellano SOMA bulk mineral vessel will be berthing at the Kingsford Quay carrying containers from From Sea at 3pm.

Wednesday August 5

At 12am the Newlead Castellano SOMA bulk mineral vessel will be departing the Kingsford Quay.

At 2pm the ANL Euroa container vessel will be berthing at the Brunt Q carrying containers from Lyttelton.

Thursday August 6

At 12.01am the SG Pegasus NSA methanol petrochemical tanker will be berthing at the McGlashen Quay South carrying containers from New Plymouth. She will depart again at 3pm.

The BELLA MSC container vessel will arrive at the Main Wharf South carrying containers from Lyttleton at 12.30am. She will depart to Wellington at 1.30pm.

At 1am the ANL Euroa ANL container vessel will be departing the Brunt Q carrying containers to Wellington.
