A new mural painted by Golden Bay artist Chris Finlayson has been installed in a car park on the corner of Selwyn Place and Hope Street.
The artwork, titled Doodle of Life, brightens up the side of the corrugated iron Daniel Allen Media building adjacent to Staig and Smith.
Amanda Sears, described the mural as “the talk of the town” on her FaceBook page, Nelson City Street Art.
Chris has designed over 330 large scale art projects in the last 30 years including Aotearoa on Wakefield Quay and Urban Jungle in 1908 Square.
