The biggest television in Australasia has arrived in Nelson and our own local Hi-Fi specialists, The Audiophile, have the pleasure of showing it off.
The 98 inch, ultra high definition 4K television has been brought into Nelson by Panasonic and will be on display at The Audiophile on Saturday.
The Audiophile manager, Daniel O’Connell, says the television is the only one in New Zealand and the best available for for it’s size.
“It has the best chipset you can buy on the market, you get unbelievable colours and clarity. Imagine it beautifully recessed into your walls.”
The high-end tv has been designed for both home and commercial use and is as easy to operate as a normal television while providing broadcast quality viewing.
The television has caught the eye of notable television stations and movie producers in New Zealand.
“One famous New Zealand movie director is getting three of these installed in his Wellington studio,” Dan says.
A notable feature of this model is that it uses tempered glass on the screen.
“You can’t break it so it’s great for things like games rooms.”
The $59,000 television can be wall or pedestal mounted and even features crane hooks “for fitting it into those hard to reach spots.”
Dan is welcoming people into his Wakatu Estate store this Saturday from 10.00am to 2.00pm to view the television.
