Nelson has become one of only a handful of cities to be given a 3D Flyover Tour as part of the Apple Maps app.
Three dimensional computerised drawings have been created for all the buildings in the city centre including Civic House and Christ Church Cathedral.
Traditionally Apple have only mapped major cities around the world including the likes of Budapest, Tokyo, London, New York and Vatican City.
New Zealand is ahead of Australia which only four major cities mapped; Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra and Perth as well as South Africa which offers two; Cape Town and Durban.
Nelson joins Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin and Wellington to make up the five New Zealand cities available on 3D Flyover Tour.
