Nelson Police investigating a robbery at the Brook St Store last week have several leads, including a photo of a man who may be connected.
At about 7.15pm last Thursday night, a male wearing a balaclava entered the Brook St Store. He demanded that the store assistant open the cash drawer and threatened to harm her if she did not cooperate.
He took a sum of cash from the till before leaving without further incident. The shop assistant was left shocked and shaken by the experience.
Shortly after, a man changed a large amount of coins at McDonald’s in Nelson and police are keen to speak with him.
