Parents put in long hours for annual show

The cast of 35 parents, teachers and board of trustee members have each put in an estimated 140 groovy hours of practice ahead of next month’s fundraising show, The Love Bus.

Each year the parents’ review raises around $20,000 for Nayland Primary School and provides its sell out audience with plenty of laughs.

This year the show has been written by parents Kaz Halkett and Margie Meleisea and they say the cast has been practising since February in preparation for the show. “It’s been great fun and everyone has been having a blast,” says Kaz.

Tickets for the show are now on sale and sponsorship opportunities for local businesses are still available.
