Singing for the hospice

Nelson Bays Harmony loves to sing, so they thought what better way to share their passion than performing in a concert as a fundraiser for hospice.

The group has gathered some fantastic local performers to put on a show “Harmony for Hospice”, on Saturday, May 19, at 2pm at All Saints Church on Vanguard St.

The group has pulled together local singer songwriter Bryce Wastney, along with Nelson’s oldest singing group, Mosaic and the ukulele band Uklectics – all to help ensure the event is a success.

Recently Nelson Bays Harmony invited Kim Vaughn, a visiting vocal coach from the United States, to help sing the group’s four-part barbershop chords so they would sound fantastic. The results will be on display this weekend.

Entry is $10 entry for adults, gold coin donation for children and for afternoon tea. There is also a raffle to help raise some more funds.
