The Nelson Young Professionals are buzzing, preparing for their ever-popular annual ball, to be held on the waterfront next month.
The group of young working Nelsonians host many social events throughout the year, but organiser Bridget McCormick says the ball is the cherry on top.
“It’s a chance to dress up nicely and have a great night, The Boathouse will be all decorated, we’re expecting great numbers and we’re all very excited about it.”
Sponsored by My Tax, the “All Aball’d” ball will feature live music from “Don’t Frett”, grazing tables, spot prizes, and a fun night out on the high seas for Nelson’s younger demographic.
“We’re all about connecting young working people in Nelson with each other, the Nelson lifestyle, and the community, and the ball is the perfect place to get together, have fun and meet new people.”
Held at The Boathouse on October 14, the “All Aball’d” ball is open to both members and non members.
Tickets are $90 for members, $110 for non members, and are on sale now at www.nyp.co.nz
