Italian opera music comes to Nelson

Operatunity’s Daytime Concert Series brings ‘That’s Amore’ to Hope Community Church in Nelson on Friday, March 24 at 11am and 2pm.

The Three Tenors, Bonaventure Allan-Moetaua, Derek Hill and Kalauni Pouvalu, along with Soprano Susan Boland will be bringing their friendship, humour and talent to Nelson on Operatunity’s upcoming concert ‘That’s Amore’.

The experienced team have been performing together within New Zealand and abroad for close to 5 years.

Bonaventure was awarded the Iosefa Enari Scholarship Award while studying singing at the University of Auckland, Derek Hill studied in Canada and now works with the New Zealand Opera and Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra while NZ born Tongan, Kalauni studied in Auckland and received the Conal Coad Opera Australia Prize in January this year.
