Artists from eight to 94-years-old will be up past bedtime for a 24 hour concert on May 28.
The concert, ‘Sleeping with the Steinway’ is a fundraiser for the Nelson School of Music’s earthquake strengthening and rebuild.
The concert will be held at Old St John’s in Hardy St, the current home of the star of the show, the Steinway piano that started it all.
Among the 500 performers will be the Off Your Rockers Chorus and the Central School Choir who were on sight rehearsing today.
We popped along for a sneak peak.
