Horses and riders had the crowd on their feet and yelling at the top of their lungs for most of the weekend at the Nelson Harness Races.
Tote Manager, Peter McIntyre says the crowd all had a good time and most of them walked away as winners at the end of the day.
“Everyone’s winning and the punter’s club is ahead of everyone else so we’ll see how that plays out.”
One such winner was Nelson’s Kim Tran who, when we talked to her, had picked the first horse for each of Sunday’s races.
“We’re having such a good day, and I’m winning all the races, six wins out of the six I betted on isn’t bad odds.”
