The man arrested after the Motueka gun incident will appear in court next week facing six separate charges.
Ford Hurinui was shot by a police officer after a stand-off in last August. He has been in Rimutaka Prison since his release from Wellington Hospital after the shooting.
He will appear in the Hutt Valley District Court on Thursday 5 November charged with: using a firearm against Police, unlawful possession of a firearm, breach of a protection order as well as two charges from a separate incident in June which include aggravated burglary and injures with intent to injure.
