The All Blacks are visiting the nation and they want local schools and clubs to pitch ideas about how they’d host them.

On Thursday 3 September the All Blacks will spread around the country to spend time with fans in eight communities in New Zealand. Those communities can enter online to bring them to their home town, including Nelson.

An All Blacks statement says, “Whether it’s making your own movie or a team song, decking out your school, classrooms, clubrooms and even bedrooms or running events for charities with an All Blacks theme – maybe even for the team’s official charity Cure Kids – it can all be part of your entry to have a visit from the team.”

All Black lock Sam Whitelock says: “You can make a team song, make a wee dance up for it, make a movie… paint the whole town black.”

While Andy Ellis says: “If the whole school, or a whole club stood up and did a big, awesome haka, that would be great.”

Schools and clubs can register their entries and find out more at www.allblacks.com/ABs2N

Entries into the competition close on Wednesday 12 August 2015.
