They simply can’t be stopped.

The Nelson Marlborough Falcons have scored their fifth win of the season, beating Wanderers Youth 2-0 at Trafalgar Park on Sunday.

Once again the Falcons kept a clean sheet while scoring two at the other end.

A first half strike by Atkin Kaua gave the hosts the lead, but it was Nat Payne’s goal in the second that secured the win for the Falcons.

The win means the Falcons are at the top of the ASB Youth League table, after five games, equal with Waitakere United on 15 points, but ahead on goal difference.

In those five games, the Falcons have scored an average of two goals a game and have only conceeded one goal the entire season.

Waitakere have also scored ten but have conceeded two goals.

This Saturday, the Falcons travel to play Hawkes Bay United, before hosting Manawatu United at Trafalgar Park on Sunday, November 23.

The big game against Waitakere is on December 6, in Auckland.
